These videos are developed using storyboards and shots lists. They often make use of a green screen, blend modes, and layered backgrounds. Distinctly inspired by 90’s and ’00 early graphic effects.
All videos were edited with Adobe Premiere. Photoshop is used to develop background images and thumbnails.

This video uses a green screen and features blended layers in the background, and animated illustrations.

Workin’ Up Some Don’t
Give a Fuck

This story driven video features multiple scenes, locations, and people. I relied on a well developed storyboard to capture the narrative.


There’s Drugs in that Jacket

This video makes use of a green screen and blends layers to create the background for this story driven narrative featuring two characters.

Cushions

This is a straight to camera performance that relies on a well designed set, great costuming and light camera work

For Heaven’s Sake

This video uses a green screen and blended layers to replace the background. The color gradient shifts from black & white to full color.

Headed North

This is a 90’s throwback that relies heavily on layers, blend modes and musical timing. This video makes use of a green screen and keyframe animation


Defiant

This is a split screen video featuring the artist as multiple members of the band. This video relies heavily on continuity between sides A and B to maintain a seamless background

This video uses the “find edges” effect to achieve it’s faux animation style, in addition to blended layers to create the background effects.

Dolly Parton Drag Queen

This is a stop motion animation that included hundreds of images, and relied on excellent storyboarding. The illustrations were hand drawn by Bryn Ryder. We worked as a team to color the illustrations and capture each movement.

Original photography blended with stock images to create a moving desert background.

Ticky Tacky Lyric Video

Blended layers and inversions. The image inside the frame shifts differently from the imagery outside of the frame

New Growth Lyric Video

I wanted this to feel like a moving garden. I blended stock imagery to create a layered effect, and animated parts of the background to give it life.


Come Down Lyric Video

This video experiments with color shifting from a muted toned desert into a vibrantly colored desert.

I used desert and guitar images to accentuate the southwestern feel of the music in this video
